Y-RUSH

For the past five years Y-Rush has been carving his turkey: this turkey is a special one. Hand bred from the honeypot of an incredible blend of b-boy videos, flea market finds and underground classics, the flavours Y-Rush brings to the table are remarkable.

Y-Rush stepped out of his room and into the public eye for the first time to compete in the 2002 DJ Olympics. Every year since that night he penetrated the bar with a fake ID, he has advanced into the Olympics' finals. In every DMC competition Y-Rush has entered, he has placed in the top 3. Recently he was crowned champ at the 2005 Moncton eliminations earning a spot to compete in the Canadian finals.

Besides keeping sucker DJs in check, he is focused on production and recording with a wide variety of artists. Having caught the eyes and ears of numerous DJs and promoters, Y-Rush has opened for artists such as world champions A-Trak and Dopey as well as J-Live and has been recently added to Courageous Productions' diverse roster of DJs.
